For too long Nonprofits have been limited by what they cannot do and what they do not have. Cloud computing and other technological innovation have opened the door for nonprofits of all sizes and stripes to optimize their impact and reach by parsing out and adopting best practices from across other industries. At Arkus, we are passionate about supporting nonprofits and helping them change the world.
That is why this event is free of charge, is open to all nonprofits regardless of size or focus, includes lunch, and will be followed by a happy hour nearby. Our event will focus on a few key practices and the tools commonly associated with technology and commercial companies, and showcase how Atlanta area nonprofits can use them to fulfill their mission.

We will start the day with conversation, coffee, and a light breakfast at 9 am. Our main sessions will kick off at 10 am, with lunch at 1 pm. You are also invited to enjoy drinks and hors d'oeuvres with us as we close out the day with a Happy Hour nearby.

Tony Kimbrough - CEO of the Veteran's Empowerment Organization (VEO) Tony Kimbrough is the CEO of VEO, the Veterans Empowerment Organization, the largest nonprofit in Georgia providing direct services to military veterans in need. Tony is a decorated veteran, having served in the national guard as a military intelligence officer. Following his military career, Tony found success as a civilian in nonprofit management, and now he’s on a mission to help other veterans succeed.
Clay Shelley - Implementation Consultant, Arkus, Inc. Clay Shelley is a current service member serving in the Georgia Army National Guard. He is a Master Army Instructor with 5 years of experience instructing leadership courses to non-commissioned officers in the United States Army. Clay is also a Salesforce Technical Consultant working with Arkus on implementations and ongoing support for nonprofits! |
